Inboxdollars.com

Wow! I recieved a check today for inboxdollars.com - it was for $27.70. So Inboxdollars pays. It is official!

Ehow.com

I recieved $12.86 from Ehow.com in my paypal account today! So it does pay. Definitely!

Final decision about ehow.com:

Ehow is a fantastic way to make extra money online. I love it. The best advice to earn more money on ehow is to keep writing and submitting articles with pictures and good grammar, and make sure to submit them to as many search engines and bookmarking sites as possible. That is about it. Sounds simple, huh?
I would say as of today, Ehow is my favorite way to make money online.

Inboxdollars.com

I recieved an email today saying that my payment has been processed! I am now a "gold member". I have to wait for the check to come in the mail, but this is a very good sign. I think that the woman on ripoff report just didn't read any of the emails or do anything on the site while waiting for her payment. That may have been the problem. Not sure.

Inboxdollars.com

Oh, and by the way - while investigating the amway thing, I came across "ripoffreport.com". I've previously used this site thousands of times to investigate random "opportunities" and have been successful in finding the information I was searching for. I had forgotten to run a search for inboxdollars.com or cashcrate.com. Huh?! Wonder what I was thinking.
So both sites came up with random complaints. I have already recieved a check from cashcrate.com, so I am not worried about that - but I found an entry about inboxdollars.com that said the woman never got paid, etc. etc. ... Long drawn out process....
We will see what happens. (*my payment is due to be processed on August 1st)

The Team

A while back, while working in Wisconsin, I ran into a group of people called, "The Team" or "Team of Destiny" - They were so excited about what they were doing, and they were having so much fun! WOW!! So I asked them what they did. They responded with various non-descriptive answers like " we have fun and make money! Yay!!" Things of that nature. So I looked into it and found out that they were pretty much Amway.

Well, just last night I ran into another group of people who acted EXACTLY the same way - and figured it was the team, but I was told that they were NOT the team at all. Just actually really - they were the team - just not really, though.......

Whatever. They are called "Leadership Team Development". I was invited to a meeting, but decided to look into it before I went. I found out that they are pretty much the EXACT same thing, and that I had been lied to. I couldn't find anything specifically on "leadership team development" - but found ridiculously eerie similarities and affiliations with the same group of corporate officers. So beware - amway is now "the team" / "the team of destiny" / "Leadership team development"

Inboxdollars.com

I am still waiting to recieve a check from inboxdollars.com. I logged in this morning and found that there is $7.25 on top of the check I am supposed to recieve for $27.70 (after the $3.00 fee).
That's pretty good, considering the only thing other than reading their emails that I did was a survey that earned me $1.00 this month! So $6.25 is from emails.
The processing date is August 1st, so I wasn't supposed to recieve it yet. I will find out soon enough.

Daytipper.com

On the 14th, I submitted two tips to the daytipper.com site. I was waiting to find out if they would be published. Today I recieved 2 emails saying that they were rejected.

I GOT PAID!!

I recieved a check for Cashcrate.com today! It was for $16.90. So - Yes, it does pay!

daytipper.com

I heard about a site called daytipper.com today and created an account. You submit tips and they pay you $1.00 for each one that they publish. There are multiple categories to choose from, so pretty much anyone can add something I would guess. I've only submitted 2 tips so far, I am waiting to see if they will publish them and how long it will take.

Update

I've been viewing my paid emails from inboxdollars.com and qualified for a survey that earned me a whole dollar, but other than that nothing too exciting about inboxdollars. I have yet to recieve a payout, but it says that my check will be processed on August 1st, so I am waiting patiently.

Cashcrate and gangstergreed have not earned me any more money, but I haven't been participating in any new offers. I've found these offers to be a little tedious for the few cents that you can actually make. I am still waiting on a payout from either one, once I get one I may complete more offers, but until then - I am waiting.

Ehow.com has been steadily increasing in profit for me. I definitely love this site! I actually use it to find out how to do things, too, so that's good.

Howtodothings.com

I opened a new account at howtodothings.com today. I haven't published any articles yet, but it seems to work the same way that Ehow.com works. You write articles to earn money. They share adsense revenue with you 50/50. I'm going to publish some articles in the next few days and see how it works out.

Ehow.com

Yay! More money from ehow.

Ehow.com

I've got a brand new idol! His name is David Sarokin and he is an author on Ehow.com. I was just browsing articles this afternoon and found one titled, "How to make $10 a day on Ehow.com", read it, and was impressed. I think the man may be some type of genius.

check it out:

http://www.ehow.com/how_2297064_ten-dollars-day-online-ehow.html

He also has a website dedicated to online research:

http://xooxleanswers.com

I've been reading his articles and surfing his site all evening!

inboxdollars.com

Wow! Just from reading the paid emails since I requested payment (June 20th) I have made another $5.70. That's pretty good for little to no effort at all. I'm not too excited about the fact that I have to wait until August 1st for my payment to be processed, but I am goint to recieve $27.70 for very little effort as well, so I guess all in all it is a pretty sweet opportunity to make a few extra dollars online.
I haven't been participating in many cash offers since I've done most of the free ones already, but apparently when you recieve your first payout you are upgraded to a "gold" membership which qualifies you for better offers, referral rewards, more surveys, etc.

Ehow.com

Wow! Optimizing keywords helped out! I only have 2 articles that aren't making any money now, and the others have made more money since I've done this. One of the two that are not making money is about how to change your avatar and make sure other people can see it on Ehow, so I guess it wouldn't make too much money anyway, but I wrote this article because an Ehow friend who was brand new on the site sent a message to me asking how to fix this problem. I had had the same problem just one day before that, so I figured, " hey, why don't I make it an article!" I'm not counting this one, so really only 1 out of 9 articles hasn't made any money yet.

The best thing about Ehow, to me, is that even without posting every day I can still make money from the articles I've published before. That is nice! I am definitely going to keep at it!

quickrewards.net

Okay, so I signed up on this site a few days ago. I haven't posted anything about it since. That would be because for the last two days the site has been unavailable! (nice.)
I finally logged into my account tonight since it was available. I'm not so sure I like this site. I guess it's too early to tell, but I know that their surveys are kind of hard to qualify for, since I haven't qualified for any yet!! Also, when I was completing an offer that would credit me 15 cents - it took me to one of those pages with all the offers you are supposed to put yes or no to and have to choose one to keep going. I wasn't too thrilled about that, either.
I will keep trying out different features as long as I can actualy get on the site, and make a final decision if it is worth it later. For right now, I vote no.

Ehow.com

I've submitted my articles to a few of the social bookmarking sites, which helped increase traffic and profits from ehow.com. I have a total of 10 articles right now, which isn't all that many compared to a few folks in the ehow community who have 100- 200 articles! 6 of the articles are making money each day, while 4 of them just aren't. I plan to optimize the keywords for these 4 articles to increase the profitability.

I would definitely suggest ehow to anyone who is creative, would enjoy writing how to articles, and would also like to earn a few extra dollars. It is too early to give a final word on ehow, but for right now, I would definitely suggest giving it a shot yourself.

mylot.com

The official word on mylot.com:

Not worth it!

I guess if you are going to talk/ chat online anyway and you'd spend your time doing all that posting for free, then it's worth getting paid for it, but in reality, you are only making a few cents a day, so it is not worth the time to try and make serious money on this site.

If you have a few friends that would actually get online and participate in your conversations, it is plausible that you could earn a lot more money than I did on mylot.com, but unless you do, you might as well try another money making idea.

quickrewards.net

I signed up for an account today with quickrewards.net. I am going to try it out and see what happens.

They pay for surveys, games, and other offers like inboxdollars, cashcrate, and gangstergreed. They also pay you for printing out coupons on their site. That's kind of neat. I read the FAQ section and it sounds good, you can cash out whenever you'd like to. You can redeem your points/ $ for cash, points on other websites, or prizes.

I am going to fill out some offers and see how many points / dollars I can earn in the next few days. Here is a link to the site:

inboxdollars.com

Finally! I got an email today saying that I have been credited for microsoft live file sharing. This was one of the first things that I did when signing up on inboxdollars. I thought I would never get credited! I think it's been over a week maybe even 2 weeks!

Friday, June 20, 2008

gangstergreed.com

Logged in to gangstergreed.com today, too. I am now credited with $2.65!! Yay!!
I haven't been able to fill out too many offers on this site, because some of them are the same as inboxdollars.com and cashcrate, so I wouldn't get credit for them since those companies already have my information. I am still going to keep this account open and check back from time to time to find offers that I am eligible for.

http://www.gangstergreed.com?ref=75879

cashcrate.com

I logged into my cashcrate.com account today, and I have $16.90 still credited to my account, and $24.00 pending. It's been saying that same amount since the 13th. Not sure how much longer it will take for the $24.00 to be credited. I read the FAQ's and it says that it could take a while to be credited, but .....

On the 15th, there was already $16.90, so that means that I should be sent a check for $16.90 on July 15th. I'm going to fill out some more offers in between now and then, and see if I get credited.

Thursday, June 19, 2008

inboxdollars.com

Okay, I have $10.00 to go. I'm waiting on a few offers to be credited to my account, but I'm very close to being able to request payment, so we will soon find out if inboxdollars is for real.

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Inboxdollars.com

I'm still working on the $30.00 payout amount, but to be fair, I got confused with gangstergreed or cashcrate, I thought they just sent out a check, so I wasn't trying to reach the payout amount until yesterday! (Oops!) I'm pretty close, though.
I'm looking into getting an account so that I can use a debit card that will not be connected to my bank or paypal accounts, like a gift card kind of. I heard about it on mylot, someone posted a message.

Oh- and speaking of mylot, someone responded and signed up under me, so I now have a ONE referral since my friends didn't do it!! I posted some stuff on there today, but I'm still not that excited about mylot since it takes too long and you don't get paid very much to post.

Monday, June 16, 2008

inboxdollars.com

On inboxdollars, you have to have $30.00 to request payment, so I'm working on it!!

gangstergreed.com

OK you only need to have $10.00 to cash out. I now have $2.65.

inboxdollars.com

Signed up on Inboxdollars.com, I've filled out a few surveys and some offers. It's taken a total of about an hour of my time and I've been credited so far with 15.90 in my account. I am going to request payment and see how that works out.

Friday, June 13, 2008

gangstergreed.com

Gangstergreed is like cashcrate.com , you get paid to complete offers and participate in surveys. The only difference is that they have an automatic payout option. You must have $30.00 to request payment, though. I signed up for an account yesterday, and have 1.65 in earnings today. We'll see how this works out.

Thursday, June 12, 2008

cashcrate.com

So I started an account with cashcrate recently, and have completed some of the free offers on their site. So far my account says that I have made 16.90 and I have 24.00 pending confirmation.

On this site, they have you fill out surveys, register on all types of sites, and sign up for free trials of random products. The downside is that you are asked for your address, phone number, and email on some of the sites, and even for credit card ino sometimes. I only filled out the ones that didn't need a credit card.

Another way to make money on this site is by referring people, they give you a referral link, like this:

http://cashcrate.com/628553

and anyone you refer makes money for you as well. You get 20% of what your referrals make and 10% of their referrals. That sounds good. I guess the hard part is getting people to try it out.

The minimum payout is only 10.00, that's not so bad, I've made at least that, so however much money I've earned by the 15th of June, they will send a check out for that amount on the 15th of July. I will update then.

ehow.com

yay!! More money from ehow! I'm definitely going to add more articles! The one from last night has already made me some money!

Ehow.com

I've added one more article to my ehow profile, and am adding another tonight. Also, I found out about a few advertising techniques to get more views. I submitted my articles to stumbleupon, digg, diigo, and a few other bookmarking sites. We will see how this turns out.

Next endeavor: cashcrate.com

Ehow

So I've added one more article to ehow, and found out a few techniques for advertising my articles to get more views. I submitted them to stumble upon, digg, twitter, and some other bookmarking sites. We'll see how that turns out. This evening I am adding another article, and I'm going to continue to add a few more.

Ehow

I wrote a few articles on Ehow and I've waited to see if they've earned any money so far. Today I logged in to find that 1 article has made 16 cents, while the others have not made any money. The good thing about Ehow, though, is that if you publish one article you can keep making money off of that same article again and again. I am definitely going to keep posting and promoting my articles on the site.
Many users on Ehow have over 100 articles, so if my 4 articles have only earned me 16 cents so far, I guess by my rate - that would be 3.60 they would have made in the last few days. I better get writing....

MYLOT

Alright. That's it. I've finally given up on mylot. Final conclusion:

*mylot is not a scam, it DOES pay if you post
*You can make money on mylot, it just takes too much time for not enough money.

MYLOT score: 4/10

Mylot day 5

So this morning, I logged in to my mylot account. I made another few cents, but still did not reach one dollar. Seems to me this is a little bit too much trouble for what I've earned so far, but I do see the opportunity involved. If in fact the people that I referred to mylot would remain active (as in keep on posting things online) I would definitely make more money. I would need to have a whole lot of referrals, but it can be done.

I'm going to keep trying it for a few more days before I reach a definite conclusion.

Day 4 Mylot.com

Checked my earnings on mylot this morning and it was still less than 1$. Didn't give up yet. The number at least got higher. None of my referrals are active so far, so I will have to see if that is the key to making money on mylot.

Ehow.com

One way to earn some extra money online is to write articles on ehow. They have a somewhat new writer compensation program. Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for an ehow account
2. Write How To articles about what you know
3. Sign up for the compensation program (requires a paypal account for payments)
4. Ads are placed on your articles based on keywords
5. You are paid based on the number of times people click on these ads

I signed up on ehow about a week ago. I've written 4 articles total, and only one of them is actually making me money. I read a few of the articles that other ehow members wrote explaining how to make money on ehow, and found that it is pretty much a numbers game.

The more articles that you have and the more people that view them, the more likely someone will click on the ads on your article. So......you will definitely want to promote your article in any way you can like submitting it to digg, stumble upon, etc. I'm going to add more articles and update on Ehow later.

For examples, Here are links to some of my articles:

http://www.ehow.com/how_2313460_cope-steadily-increasing-gas-prices.html

http://www.ehow.com/how_2313409_toys-that-made-america.html

http://www.ehow.com/how_2313976_show-up-everyone-can-see.html

Mylot - Day 3

So yesterday I let some of my friends know about mylot, because they have a referral program which is supposed to make you money. I also put ads in some free advertising sites with my referral link. We'll see how this pans out, later. I logged in this morning and found that I actually did make more money by starting conversations than from commenting on them.

Total so far is not even $1.00, but I've only spent about half an hour actually trying to interact and post on the site.

Two friends of mine have begun to post things as well, so tomorrow I will update with thoughts on referrals, total earned and so forth.

Friday, June 6, 2008

Mylot.com

So I've stumbled upon this site called mylot - apparently, you get paid to post content on the site. There are a whole lot of users as far as I can tell, and the topics range from "what kind of juice do you prefer? Orange Juice or Pineapple?" To "what makes you happy?" - So there are a lot of options as far as content goes.

I set up my account yesterday, which took pretty long since it asks you to choose your interests in just about every imagineable category. Once I was finished with all that, I started posting replies to random conversations others had started. I even uploaded a photo of one of the things that makes me happy.

This morning I checked to see if my activity had earned me any money. I made 4 cents.
I guess at this point it is too early to tell if it is profitable or not. I'm going to post more responses and maybe start a few conversations and we'll see how that turns out later.

Here is a link if you'd like to see what I'm talking about:

http://www.mylot.com/?ref=inpulsive

Seriously

I've recently been researching ways to ACTUALLY make money online. I've found countless ways, it's just that most of them seem like scams or like they may just be too good to be true.
I've found 2 or 3 different blogs and sites that seem to be "real" and "honest" but when it comes down to it, that's hasn't been the case. We'll just see about all these "opportunities."
